If Freddie Mercury had still lived, today he would celebrate his 65th birthday as a first Asian rock legend, who was born in the english colony Zanzibar (today's Tanzania), who learned to play piano in colony India, flew to England because of the revolution in Zenzibar. mixing opera and rock, he opened a new era in rock worlds. Besides having a voice of 4 octavs, Queen's head vocal rock legend Mercury wrote most of those uniqe and worldwide succesfull songs' lyrcs, composed them and sang them! He didn't hide from the flashs that he was gay and he died because of AIDS when he was 45.

We love him, rest in peace Freddie.

Recado adlı parçayı seslendiren Maria Rita, Brezilya'nın divalarından Elis Regina ile yine çok ünlü piyanistlerinden César Camargo Mariano'nun Sao Paolo'da doğmuş kızı. İsim annesi de aile dostu Rita Lee - Brezilyanın efsane kadın rock'çılarından. Yani Maria Rita'nın şarkı söylüyor olması aslına o kadar şaşırtıcı değil :) 24 yaşına kadar profesyonel anlamda şarkı söylemeyen Maria Rita New York'ta iletişim okumuş, gençlik dergilerinden birinde gazetecilik yapmış. Sonra da "yeter" demiş ve güzelim portekizcesiyle - ki dili gerçekten güzel kullandığı çok belli oluyor- Ella Fitzgerald'ı model alarak söylediği şarkılarıyla, karmaşık bir günün iç ferahlatan ve yavaşlatan sesi oluyor.

Maria Rita, singing Recado is the daughter of bresilian vocal legend Elis Regina and famous pianist César Camargo Mariano. and her namesake is family friend Rita Lee - a rock legend in Brasil! So it's no surprise that she is singing right now! She has never sang professionally till she was 24. Instead she studied communications in New York and worked in a youth magazine as a journalist. But than she said "enough" and started to sing jazz - taking Ella Fitzgerald as a model- with her beautiful Portugeese. emphasising beautiful because she really uses the language nicely and becoming the refreshing and slowing sound of a comlex day.
