Another new voice that I met through the film festival in Octorber. Yasmine Hamdan is born in Beirut and her duo Soapkills is known as the first indie/electronic band in Middle East. She will be also performing in Istanbul as a part of the film festival at 6th of October at Salon and wins one of the first lines in our world music lists.
And this song Deny is like the energy of lie itself! Includes all hesitations, peace, passion and rising in itself. Lie the life caught to the spotlights in slow motion! I said wow. What a composition. Such feelings just in couple of notes! Enjoy!
