The National - The Rains of Castamere The National

Büyük adamların büyük onurları çarpışırken söylenmiş ağıtlardan biri The Rains of Castamere. The National'ın Game of Thrones adlı televizyon dizisine soundtrack olarak söylediği bu parça, dünyanın tüm boşu boşuna savaşmış topluluklarına gelsin.

The Rains of Castamere is a requem, sang for the batteling big honours of big men. Lets dedicate this song of the day - which is sang by the National as a soundtrack for the tv series Game of  Thrones- to the ones, to the great empires and armies, that battled for nothing. Enjoy,

And who are you,
the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.
