Damien Rice - The Blower's Daughter, Volcano

Akıllarda yer eden bir film Closer'ın soundtrack'iyle tanımıştık çoğumuz Damien Rice'ı. Gitar, piyano, klarnet ve perküsyon çalma yetilerini bir arada barındıran Damien'ın üflemeli çalgılar hocasının kızına olan aşkını anlattığı The Blower's Daughter, Closer filminin kendisi kadar etkilemişti bir çok seyirciyi. İrlanda'lı şarkıcı-söz yazarı Damien Rice sadece besteleriyle değil, dünyada olup bitene karşı sorumluluk alan bir insan olmasıyla da kendinden söz ettiren bir adammış. Tibet için Şarkılar, Özgürlük Kampanyası, ve Yeter adlı dünyaca ünlü insan hakları projelerinde aktif rol almış olan Damien Rice soğuk kış günümüzü ısıtır diye düşünüyorum. Most of us had met Damien Rice with the soundtrack of that unforgettable movie "Closer". The Blowers Daughter, in which Damien told his love to the daughter of his wind instrument instructor. The singer who could play guitar, piano, clarnet and percussion got to the audience with this spesific song. Irish singer-song writer Damien Rice has shown up on the stage not only with his songs, but also with his responsible being against the human rights and peace in the worldd. He played actively his role in the human rights projects The Song for Tibet, Freedom Campaign and Enough Project. Hope his songs will warm you up in such a cold winter day. (not for my friends from the south-semisphere :) )
