VAST - Tattoo of Your Name

İsimlerini yaptıkları işe verdikleri ismin kısaltmasından alan rock grubu VAST (Visual Audio Sensory Theater) Teksas'tan buralara getirmiş melodisini.

The rock band VAST, having its name by what they do (Visual Audio Sensory Theater) bringing their melody till here from Texas.
Enjoy,

She told me he was beating her today
And she showed me all the bruises on her face
I said, baby, can I make it all OK
She said, honey, you should make him go away

There's a hundred thousand dollars in the bank
And the policy he took out yesterday
We can live outside the country for awhile
Until things smooth over and get under control

There's a tattoo of your name across my soul

I bought a rifle and black guns without a name
For an alibi she went six states away
When I saw him I felt fire I felt cold
Like the devil and the lord wanted my soul

Like the tattoo of your name across my soul

So I shot him in his car until he died
I called to give the signal and she cried
Life has a way of making other plans
She called the cops and said I was a crazy man

I'm gonna get this thing removed when I can

There was never any policy
And the bruises came from falling on the street
So the judge gave me one hundred thousand years
In the courtroom she was filling up with tears

I saw her hold the lawyer's hand real tight

They looked tired from lack of sleep last night
Seems the whole time she had me under control
With a tattoo of her name across my soul
She got off and I will never have parole

Just this tattoo of her name across my soul
Just this tattoo of her name across my soul
Just this tattoo of her name across my soul

Beirut - A Sunday Smile

All I want is the best for our lives my dear,
and you know my wishes are sincere.
What's to say for the days I cannot bear

A Sunday smile we wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang.
A Sunday smile we wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang
'bout Sunday smiles as we felt clean. (and)

We burnt till the ground left a view to admire
With buildings aside, church of white
Have burnt till the ground left a grave to admire
Hills reach for the sky, reach the church of white.

A Sunday smile we wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang.
A Sunday smile we wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang
our Sunday smiles and we felt clean. (and)

Kristin Asbjørnsen - On My Way, Snowflake

First to go on your way, than coming back home. So sings the Kristin Asbjorbsen, the Norwegian singer-song writer. After a jazz degree she is now making a music in which she surprisingly combines a melancholy and a positive bright state of mind. Despite being young(40) she has been awarded with several national music awards in Norway. What most important she's done (i think) was the film music album for "Factotum" which is an American movie, based on the novel of Charles Bukowski. So, it could be a little bit dark for a spring day, but the cold we shouldn't forget.

Enjoy,
